Meet Our Team

Our initial core team has moved into the Murfreesboro to begin the work of planting Christ Fellowship!

Some of our team members will be full-time or bi-vocational church staff,

others moved along with full-time careers in order to live on mission in our new city.

We will continue building our Plant Team, or the entire team which will make up the initial membership of Christ Fellowship, and our Core Team, who will be members of the Plant Team with more in-depth commitment and responsibilities, over the next several months!

Blake & Sam Pierce

Lead Planter;

Core team member

Blake and Sam met when they were paired as small group leaders in their college BCM. They've been married since 2013 and have four incredible kids. Blake and Sam have both served in various ministry roles since they began college, and are passionate about learning and teaching God's word and discipling others to believe and live in light of the gospel and its implications in all parts of life. Blake holds a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and will serve as the Lead Planter/Pastor for Christ Fellowship.

Kyle & Heather Barber

Core team members

Kyle and Heather have been married for 18 years. Kyle works full time in commercial construction and Heather is a lifelong student and stay at home mom. They both began their walk with Christ as teens and have continued to pursue the Lord imperfectly and unapologetically ever since. They love connecting with people through small groups and are passionate about marriage ministry. They have two teenage daughters Keira and Eisley - who love Jesus but will also school you on quotes from "The Officе".

Todd vandiver

core team member

Todd Vandiver holds a B.A. and M.Div in Biblical and Theological Studies program at Boyce College and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Todd has served repeatedly as a Ministry Track Leader and Bible Study Leader at FUGE camps and is passionate about seeing students impacted with the gospel. Todd's role as a core team member involves focusing on community engagement and developing discipleship structures for Christ Fellowship.
